- What exactly is ShoppingDay?
- ShoppingDay is a price comparison website. We search hundreds of shops to help you find the cheapest price for a product.
- Does ShoppingDay sell anything?
- No. We just compare products that are for sale from other retailers.
- Is ShoppingDay a secure site for purchasing products?
- We don’t sell any products ourselves. All the products listed on our website are for sale by other retailers. We do make sure each retailer we work with has a secure checkout system.
- Are the prices frequently updated?
- Our prices are usually updated every 24 hours. We are confident that the prices shown will be correct for the vast majority of our listed products.
- If I have a problem with a product who do I have to contact?
- You should contact the retailer you purchased the product from.
- How do I buy a product?
- When you are on a product page you will see a list of all the shops selling that product. Each shop has a ‘Buy’ button which takes you to their website where you can purchase the product.
- How do I find a product?
- You can either use the search box or the menu system, both of which are at the top of each page. For example if you were looking for an upright freezer you would click on Appliances > Refrigeration > Upright Freezers. Or alternatively you could type 'upright freezers' into the search box, or the exact product name if you know it.
- The page is not showing properly in my browser, what should I do?
- We would love to hear from you. Please get in touch and let us know what the problem is, the browser you are using, the version of it, and your operating system.
- How do I use the promotion and discount codes?
- There will be a box to enter your discount code when you purchase the product from the retailers website. It is usually on or just after the page where you enter your payment details.
- What are Nectar points?
- Nectar points are part of the Nectar card rewards / loyalty scheme which enables the customer to earn points when purchasing goods. Many high street names such as Sainsbury’s, BP and Argos have the Nectar card rewards scheme in place. Nectar points can be redeemed in return for promotions and discounts on items such as cinema tickets, air travel, days out and entertainment. A single nectar point is currently worth 0.05p; therefore 500 nectar points are valued at £2.50. To take advantage of the Nectar card rewards scheme you must be registered and have a Nectar card, to do this simply register at 0870 410 0100, online at www.nectar.com or call in to a participating store. Once you are registered you can find out where you can spend your points and take advantage of fantastic savings.
- What are Boots Advantage Points?
- The Boots Advantage Card currently enables you to claim 4 points for every £1.00 spent in store (some items are exempt from the points promotion). Your points can then be spent in any Boots store giving you fantastic savings. Boots often have triple points promotions to enable you to save points faster, so within no time you can make use of your points. A Boots Advantage Card also provides exclusive offers for its members such as personalised mailings, meal deals and free membership to health clubs.
